I dont think I like this quitting smoking crap…I mean stuff. In fact it kinda sucks rocks. In fact it kinda smells. In fact…I think you get the picture. I had an orange instead of one of the fruits I was planning on—it has alot more fruit sugar…maybe I wont kill anyone. I was dissapointed in the salad—it was lettuce, I swear simply lettuce and chicken, so I added tomatos, cucmbers and somebean sprouts. Stupid salad…Man all I need is to smell someone who smokes, thats all—just smell em.

No, I don’t want to be a human scratch and sniff, but I can tell you something that will help you quit. There’s an herbal supplement that has been used for hundreds of years in Arryvedic Medicine. It’s called an adaptigen because it will adjust blood sugar up or down as needed by the body, so it’s mostly used by diabetics. There are only two side effects that I know of, one is if you took a truck load of it, you would probably get diarrhea, because its a green herb! The other is that it diminishes your desire for sweets because they don’t taste as good. So you ask, how does that help with smoking cessation? Nicotine is addictive but only about as much as caffeine. What smokers are really addicted to is the sugar in the tobacco. If you start to deminish your ability to taste sweets, the smokes start to taste very salty and disagreeable. You stop wanting them! It helped me more than anything else I tried. That was 11 years ago and I have been smoke free all this time! Oh and the name of the herb is Gymnema Sylvestry.
You will still crave them for a while, but the taste is so bad that you can’t deal with it, so it becomes a negative reinforcement to smoke, so that eventually you can’t deal with it and the craving goes away.
I also found that keeping a lemon slice handy was a good deterent too. It’s hard to crave anything after you’ve just sunk your teeth into the lemon! Some folks use lemon drop candy but the sugar will add up to weight gain.
